2012 is just around the corner, and there’s been some ups and downs and new faces. Sadly, I think I am better off writing alone as I am not the other half of an amazing duo. I’m just me, and that’s been the main reason why the keyboardist idea didn’t really work out.
But onwards and upwards, I receive my new keyboard tomorrow, and a lot of music creation is going to be happening as I have dreamt of for so long. I’m also planning to make 2012 the year that I make things happen, as I’ve been making excuses for the past 18 months.
I apologize for that. At least, I’ve not cancelled any shows. I just didn’t play any. And as for that? That’s gonna change as well. God, I can’t wait for this year to be over and the new year to start. I will be taking this to the next level, but until then… here’s a few oldies from yours truly… now available on iTunes.
Ahhhh, so remember when I told you that you should watch this space earlier today? Well… I hope you’re watching, because… (enter drumroll here) I would like you all to welcome the newest member to the Dilshini Mendis extravaganza: Mr Bobby Bis on the keys…
We’re working on the EP together now and I cannot wait to share the new sound with you guys. It’s a truly amazing move as I never thought about it and it all happened by chance, but once were recorded and done, we will be back on the road showcasing the EP which will be released through “Nangi’s Records” and distributed at live shows, iTunes and Spotifiy.

So, it’s been far too long, and I apologise. BUT I have a LOT to tell you about!

I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine somewhere! I definitely was in West Kensington yesterday, so I decided to re-record a video for Letter #51 after several comments about the last one. (Mainly not being able to hear the song because of loud drumming.) So here we are!

Looks like 2011 has been a good start for me as you have downloading like crazy. I’m glad the party season is over for now (although I am still having difficulty waking up in the morning)… but am thoroughly looking forward to celebrating my birthday in February.
